Churchill Group receives EcoVadis silver award for sustainability

We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded silver status for sustainability by EcoVadis. For the first time, the Churchill Group participated in the assessment by an external verification body and our clear focus on driving sustainable practices has been acknowledged.

EcoVadis is recognised as one of the most comprehensive sustainability assessment tools, globally. It evaluates organisations across four key pillars: Environment; Labour and Human Rights; Ethics; and Sustainable Procurement; grading each to develop an understanding of an organisations approach on social, ethical and environmental impacts.

The EcoVadis assessment follows the introduction of our Sustainability Charter in 2019. The Charter represents our commitment to continuously reduce our environmental impacts, to improve the well-being of our employees, to benefit the communities we work and live in, and to be at the forefront of innovation.

Daniela Eigner, environmental sustainability manager at the Churchill Group, said: “Achieving the EcoVadis silver status is an important step on our journey. Through the assessment process, we have been able to define a clear and externally verified baseline for our activities and are now able to set transparent and meaningful targets for the future. We are proud of having taken this first significant step but there is more to do and we are excited to keep pushing towards our goals.”
