We’re pleased to announce that Churchill has been shortlisted in four categories: ‘Cleaning and Hygiene Team of the Year’, ‘Covid-19 Response Award’, ‘Innovative Product of the Year’, and ‘Sustainable Company of the Year’ at the Cleaning Excellence Awards 2021.
Cleaning and Hygiene Team of the Year
Being finalists in ‘Cleaning and Hygiene Team of the Year’ recognises our cleaning and hygiene teams’ dedication to making a significant difference in the workplace. From our in-depth cleaning at St. Pancras and our partnership with Network Rail High Speed, we’ve worked effectively amid the pandemic and throughout the various lockdowns.
St. Pancras International Station was ranked first in the Consumer Choice Centre “European Railway Station Index 2020” and received a passenger satisfaction score of 96 percent – the highest of any UK station. The station also received a Certificate of Assurance from Bureau Veritas for exceptional cleaning and hygiene standards that have helped to minimise the risk posed by Covid-19.
Covid-19 Response Award
The ‘Covid-19 Response Award’ recognises the extraordinary work that cleaning and hygiene professionals have undertaken at the frontline of the nation’s effort to combat COVID-19 and protect the public. We have been shortlisted due to our work in partnership with the University of Gloucestershire.
Innovative Product of the Year
Our shortlist for the ‘Innovative Product of the Year’ recognises products or solutions that have been developed for cleaning and hygiene purposes. In response to the pandemic, we created an enhanced hygiene programme called PRISM. PRISM follows a process of swabbing high touchpoint areas in buildings, having them analysed by a laboratory, and sharing the results with the client.
PRISM elevates traditional cleaning services, combining expertise in this field with leading edge swabbing techniques and overlaying a technology platform to share data. This generates insight and practical changes, which in turn improve results.
Sustainable Company of the Year
Churchill’s ‘committing to tomorrow’ culture brings together our continual effort to be sustainable in everything we do for ourselves and our clients. Being shortlisted for ‘Sustainable Company of the Year’ recognises our strategies around the environment, our social impact, and the wellbeing of people.
